2022

Husband and Wife, Anthony and Erika Tate founded Tate Community Alliance

Tate Community Alliance hosted our first Holiday Toy Giveaway and received 51 applications. We were able to bless 169 kids, in 26 cities, with gifts. This included children residing in Los Angeles, San Bernardino, and Riverside counties as well as Arizona and New York.

2023

TCA supported two community based organizations by purchasing gifts and supplies for their community holiday events. We also responded to a community post for support of those in need by purchasing supplies and equipment for small businesses and household items for recently housed families and individuals. TCA also gifted gas cards needed for employment and purchased gifts for children of parents who expressed hardship.

2024

Tate Community Alliance revisited the development of our initial holiday service project. We focused on the needs that were expressed in the 2023 community post and TCA’s financial capability to help. TCA decided to pivot how we serve community and redirected our attention to increasing our financial capacity so we can better serve those who need our resources the most. Simply put, we want to do and give more.

Our Immediate Needs Assistance, Youth Development, and Community Connection initiatives were designed and the planning for our first fundraising campaign soon followed. Click below to learn more!

2025

Tate Community Alliance will focus on fundraising and building a donor and volunteer base to support TCA’s initiatives. As funding and other support becomes available, we will begin planning for Fall 2025 and 2026 programs and services. Assessing and engaging community in our current network and prospective communities is also a priority, as overall input and relationship building will help shape TCA’s programs and services and determine where, who, and when we serve.

In the spirit of connecting with community, we would also like to host and/or partner for one or more community events this year.
